Homestay Resorts: Home, Away From Home

It's just February and it already feels like years have passed since this particular one began. Why so, you may ask?

In big cities, one thing flies Way too fast, and that is time. Stuck in traffic jams and our respective professions, we lose track of time and perspective. Even though it's good that we are keeping ourselves busy and productive, a lot of times this indifference to passing time can create monotony. And we must avoid it at all costs, because monotony gives birth to boredom.

The best solution to this dilemma is travelling. Everyone loves travelling. Arriving at new places, exploring new traditions, absorbing vibrant cultures, trying out new culinary delights - travelling offers all this and much more.

What is even better in today's world is the fact that one can stay away from the hustle-bustle of the city's everyday life because of independent ventures like Himalaica, which provides the best Nainital cottage and resort experiences to the guests. There are many advantages of such home resorts.

1. Privacy

Since we are always surrounded by people and work, everyone nowadays is looking for a bit of solace to think and enjoy. These ventures are perfect for such demands. They offer utmost privacy to their guests at the account of being located in hill stations and other exotic places.

Away from the traffic and the crowd of the city, they are usually present at isolated locations like the top of a hill or in the woods - only because they want to provide the most refreshing and untouched experiences to their guests. What is better is that these places usually have a great landscape to admire. Imagine not waking up to horns and screeching of cars.

3. Wildlife

Usually present in nature's lap, it reminds us of its infinite beauty and how we are all so lucky to behold its magnificence. Nature can be very refreshing and can act like a real stress-buster for people who can't even get an inch of sunlight in the winters of the cities.

4. Homely experience

Unlike the ostentatious display of expensive hotels and their packed atmosphere, these home resorts have a more widespread area and approach. They are a home, away from home and one finds himself/herself feeling comfortable and rejuvenated in no time.

5. Accessibility

It is very easy to know more about such places because most of them have an online presence. In today's times, when people can't function without their computers and phones, this is an essential attribute. Booking them is easy and researching about them is even easier. All you have to do is browse the website, ask the forum and click away!

So, don't be stuck in a rut. Travel and enjoy. After all, what's better than finding a second home in the middle of hills and clouds?

Jim Corbett National Park is one of the largest tiger reserves in India and a beautiful place to visit. Named after jim Corbett, the park is one of the favorite destinations of people from all over the world who like to see Asian tigers in a safari.

The project -tiger started from this national park and has been the part of Indian heritage, more importantly because tiger also happens to be the national animal of India.  This is one of the most likely places to visit in Nainital and considering how vast it is, there are chances you may have to stay for a little while in Nainital to explore the complete glory of the reserve.

Nainital

A beautiful hill town centered around the Naini lake, Nainital is one of the most popular vacation spots in North India. It surrounded by the surreal Kumaon hill that gives you the most picturesque scenery. Spend your days by visiting the innumerable sightseeing options here like the Himalaya Darshan, snow valley, Tiff and top, Land’s  end etc. Romantic evenings can be spent strolling on mall road and shopping. Manali

A little farther from Delhi as compared to Nainital, this location is nothing short of heaven. Since the new Manali is usually the place where the crowds descend, we recommend staying at Old Manali for a more quaint and peaceful sojourn.

Another beautiful and extremely popular hill station is the Himachal Pradesh capital –Shimla. It is also referred as the queen of hills and why wouldn't it be.  Located in the majestic Lesser Himalayas you can’t give this destination a miss. The Joy Of Spending Your Winter Vacations At Homestays

The charm of spending vacations at a homestay in Uttarakhand is unprecedented, especially during winters. Interestingly, Homestays have become increasingly popular over the period of time.

The idea of spending winter vacations in some hill station may sound absurd for the first time but let’s admit it has a charm of its own. The biggest perk of staying at a homestay is that it offers an exact home-like experience.

Replete with home cooked authentic local meals to gorge on prepared by the owners of the place and comfortable beds to relax in, homestays become a part of a great travelling experience.

If you are still not convinced with what we are saying, we have few good reasons to tell you.

Experience local culture first-hand

Staying in a homestay or a cottage is a great way to experience local culture. Living in these places you get to experience the local flavors of the place you are travelling to. If you decide to live in a hotel this experience goes missing.

To experience the best of the local culture with a great proximity plan a vacation in a place like Nainital. The cottages and villas in Nainital offer the best exposures to the local cultures during your vacation at these cottages.

Excellent for solo travellers

If solo travelling is your thing, then choosing to stay at a cottage or a homestay is the best way to enjoy your solitude. Not only will you get to live in close proximity with the locals but also get a taste of the local authentic culture in a manner that is not possible if you travel with people and stay in a regular hotel.

Experience community living

Hotels all around the world function in a similar manner as they offer similar services. And they also have the same drawback; they lack the authentic community living exposure.

A homestay on the other hand gives all its visitors a chance to interact as well as get involved with the local people and understand their way of living.
